Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. You describe your business, pick a template, and change things by clicking on them or by asking Kefita in plain English or Amharic. If you can send a Telegram message, you can build your site.
Is it really free to start?
Yes. The Starter plan is free: one website on yourname.kefita.ai, every template, SSL and hosting, and 40 AI edits a month. Free sites show a small "Made with Kefita" badge.
How do I pay?
In Ethiopian birr, through Chapa — with Telebirr, CBE Birr or a bank card. You don't need a dollar card or a PayPal account. You get a receipt by email.
Can I use my own .com?
Yes, on every plan — even the free one. Search for a domain inside Kefita and pay for it in birr (the domain is billed yearly, separately from your plan); we register it, connect it and keep SSL working. Already own a domain bought somewhere else? Connecting it is part of Pro and Business.
Does it work in Amharic?
Fully. Your site can be in Amharic, English or both. The AI understands requests written in Amharic, and every template uses proper Ethiopic fonts so Ge'ez script looks right.
What happens to messages from my contact form?
They land in your Kefita inbox, in your dashboard. Most templates also show your phone number and Telegram so customers can reach you the way they prefer.
Can I switch templates later?
You can change colours, fonts, sections and every word at any time. To move to a completely different template, start a new site from it — your old one stays as it is until you're ready.
